A couple at sunset in the Tulum jungle
G.R.O.W. Lifestyle presents  ·  Valentine's Retreat 2027

Tulum,
Together.

Four nights where the Caribbean meets the jungle, built for Black love in every form it takes. Couples, best friends, and the people who move like you do. Trade the work calendar for warm water and a fire pit.

Home Monday
on the holiday.

Valentine's Day falls on Sunday, February 14. Monday the 15th is Presidents' Day — so you fly home on a federal holiday and spend two days of PTO for a four-night trip.

Two days off. Four nights away.
The destination

Yucatán jungle. Tulum, México.

The Yucatán jungle is sacred ground — an ancient Mayan landscape where the canopy hums with wildlife, cenotes run like veins of crystal water beneath the limestone, and the ruins of a great civilization still watch over the Caribbean. In February the rain is gone, the air sits in the low eighties, and the water is exactly where you want it.

Deep inside it sits a private sanctuary built largely by the hands of local Mayan artisans using ancient techniques. Four element-inspired villas overlook hundreds of acres of protected jungle, far from noise and light pollution. The whole property is ours for four nights: no strangers, no crowds, just twenty of us and the canopy.

Getting there

Wheels up at breakfast. Plunge pool by sunset.

4½ hrsNonstop from JFK or Newark into Tulum International (TQO)
60 minPrivate transfer from TQO to the villa gate
90 minFrom Cancún (CUN) if that's the better fare for you
20 minTo Akumal's beaches and Xel-Há
30 minTo the Tulum hotel zone and the beach clubs

Round-trip airport transfers are included, and we coordinate arrivals so nobody is standing at baggage claim alone. The property sits inside a gated jungle community — private transport in and out is the only way, and it's handled.

Why this weekend

Valentine's is four days long this year.

One dinner reservation and a card doesn't quite cover it. This is four nights of slow mornings, warm water, and real conversation — with your person, or with your people. Couples get a suite and a plunge pool. Solo guests get a room of their own and nineteen people worth showing up for. Because at G.R.O.W., even rest has a purpose.

G

Growth

Reset your mind and body in the middle of Q1, before the year runs off with you.

R

Relationships

Twenty guests, one property. Come as a couple, come with your best friend, leave with both.

O

Opportunities

Founders, creatives, and professionals in one villa. Beach conversations become boardroom moves.

W

Wealth

Real wealth includes your time, your health, and who you spend them with. Invest in all three at once.

The experience

We sleep in the jungle. By day, we roam.

Curated day passes unlock Tulum's beach clubs along the hotel-zone coastline, so every day brings a new stretch of white sand and a new scene. All movement is handled. All you do is show up.

Thu 11Arrival

Black Tulum

The culture is already there. We're pulling up to celebrate with it.

Tulum isn't just a pretty beach — it's become one of the most vibrant hubs for Black travelers, creatives, and entrepreneurs anywhere in the world. Since 2020, a thriving community of Black expats and a travel collective tens of thousands strong have made this coastline a home for Black joy. Mexico's own Black story runs deep, too: the country is home to roughly two million Afro-Mexicans, with heritage rooted in regions like the Costa Chica.

And we're doing it in February — Black History Month — which feels like exactly the right time to spend our dollars and our joy inside a Black community building something a thousand miles from home.

Black-owned on the water

Yacht and catamaran experiences curated by Black owners — our playlists, our food, our energy, on the Caribbean.

Afro-Mexican flavor

Brunch and dining at Afro-Mexican-owned spots that fuse diaspora roots with Yucatán tradition.

Community link-up

A shared celebration night with Tulum's Black expat and creative community — culture meeting culture.

Dollars with direction

Excursions, chefs, and vendors booked Black-owned first. We celebrate the community by investing in it.

Black love is a destination.
This Valentine's, we're going.
